PRESSMAG
TECHNOLOGY |
| |
|
| |
Walker Braillon Magnetics has
further developed the technology in of the electropermanent systems:
The electropermanent system |
| |
|
| |
|
|
OFF - The system is non magnetic active. |
| |
|
|
|
|
|
ON - The system is magnetised
when an electric current is passed for a few milliseconds
through the coil to energise the magnet material. The pole
face of the platen becomes active and clamps the mould.
The system is demagnetised by a further electrical pulse to
deactivate the pole face of the platen. |

The "EXTRA"
advantage of the PRESSMAG system
The PRESSMAG system has taken electropermanent technology into a new
and advanced dimension with the unique configuration of shoe poles
which are especially designed to maximise flux concentration and give
more magnetic coverage area.
This produces exceptionally high forces of attraction, and ensures
that the mould is clamped in complete safety during the injection
moulding process. |
